where to stay in Montpellier

A bustling and lively city, home to thousands of students. If you're looking for a smaller French city in the south of France, with many restaurants, cafes and shops, with the beach only a 20 minute drive away, Montpellier's the answer. It's not Paris, by any means - by that we mean much smaller, and much more manageable. It's perfect for a 3-4 day break, but beyond that, if you are visiting with kids, you'll probably want to rent a car and head for the beach or explore the surrounding countryside and coastal towns.
